What is the month of June known for?

Automatically, people equate June with Summer; the weather becomes warmer and by now most children have all adjourned from their school year. June is known for the having the most wedding ceremonies, and how ironic that the month of June's flower is the ROSE. The birthstone(s) for June are the Alexandrite, typically a reddish or green colored stone, the Pearl, and the Moonstone; the stones are known for Balance, Confidence, & Joy. June is known for Flag Day Celebrations and National Safety Month. During the month of June we observe and appreciate African American Music Month/ Black Music Month. It's another time to recognize the talent and creative genius, lyrical skills, musical collaborations, and song presentations, of African American people and their music to our culture and society, as it is stamped in history always to enjoy and never to be forgotten! Here we are nearly 2 weeks into the new month, February, known as Black History Month, which is also the shortest month of the year....ironic. Have you begun to celebrate?
